Hi Elvis. You used to sit around and play guitar in the living room with my father-in-law (Jeff). I still remember listening to "you are my sunshine" and thinking -- my God, that's great! So glad to hear it on the new CD. Chad has about worn it out already. My son, Colt, is 10 -- he found your myspace page this evening, but was disappointed because "he cried daddy" wasn't on it -- He says hurry up and put it on the page so he can "steal" it for his page !!! We have always loved your music -- even before there was a CD! I still remember going show you where Mr. Nolan lived (that was a LONG time ago) .... Keep up the great work and hurry up with that myspace page .. LOL!!

Elvis Barker. WHAT A VOICE- Have drinked many, many beer listing to your first cd. Matter of fact, we were all listening to it this past Saturday at the crawfish boil we had here. Where can I buy the new CD at? I got the other one from Wal-Mart in Denham Springs, LA.
I'll soon be 23. My daddy, an ironworker nicknamed "Bearcat", worked with you probably close to 10 years ago if not longer, at Dow Chemical. Thats how I found out about your music. Daddy said that he would start singing a Merle Haggard tune and you would follow in behind him. Thats something i'll never forget. I think you were supposed to come play the guitar with my paw-paw (my daddy's daddy), but not sure what happened.
I was camping in Forest Hill, LA a couple weeks ago at the Loran/Claiborne ATV Camp in the Kisatchie National Forest. I was listening to a station that was I believe 101.1 "KBON". It was "Louisianian" music.
I heard your song "All The Above" come on there, but wasn't quite sure who was singing it. Well, it didn't take me long to figure out that it was you! A buddy of mine asked "Who's that singin'?" I said, with a huge smile, "Thats Elvis Barker there son!"

Anyway, I definitely want to buy the new CD. I'm fixing to have to replace the "Forever Or Nothing" record too. Its just about bit the dust.

WHY DON'T YOU COME PLAY DOWN HERE AT THE MOONLIGHT INN in French Settlement, LA? I'm sure Dee (the owner) would love that! Its a good sized place with a big dance floor. I'd help you any way I can. We also have The Bayview Tavern, which is on Colyell Bay, and Bear Creek Steakhouse and Bar, which is in Montpellier, LA. I'm sure you've heard of or know Mickey and Jack Jones. I think they just bought Bear Creek from what I was told.
